Information you give us

• Contact information: name, email address, phone number
• Order information: shipping address, billing address, order history
• Payment information: your payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number. We may receive the last four digits, card brand, and expiration date for order support and subscription management.
• Account information: username and password, if you create an account
• Membership information: enrollment date, consent record, billing dates, cancellation records
• Communications: messages you send us by email, phone, or social media
• Content you submit: reviews, photos, and comments

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, time on site

Legal bases (if you are in the EEA or UK): performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, your consent for marketing and non-essential cookies, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it as follows:

• Payment processors — to process payments and recurring Membership charges
• E-commerce platform and hosting providers — to operate our store
• Shipping and fulfillment partners — to deliver your orders
• Email and SMS providers — to send transactional and marketing messages
• Advertising platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and analytics providers — to measure and target advertising. This may involve sharing hashed identifiers such as your email address, and browsing or purchase events. Under some state privacy laws, this may be considered "sharing" or "selling" of personal information, and you may opt out — see Section 7.
• Professional advisors — accountants and attorneys, where necessary
• Legal and safety — where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and deliver and measure advertising.

This includes advertising pixels from Meta and other platforms, which record actions such as page views, add-to-cart, and purchases, and associate them with your device or account on those platforms.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working. You may also be able to limit ad tracking through your device settings and through the advertising platforms directly.

Our site does not currently respond to Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. 

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

• Order records: retained for tax, accounting, and warranty purposes, generally 7 years
• VIP Membership consent and cancellation records: retained for at least 3 years after the Membership ends, as required under state automatic renewal laws
• Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we honor your opt-out
• Website analytics: typically 26 months

We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
• Access a copy of your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right
• Appeal a decision we make about your request, where your state provides for this
• Data portability, where applicable

We will verify your identity, usually by confirming details associated with your account or orders, and respond within 45 days. We may extend this once where permitted, and will tell you if we do.

Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proof of authorization.

California residents

California residents have the rights listed above under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Nevada residents

Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of certain personal information by emailing shopeazeandco@yahoo.com.

EEA and UK residents

You may also object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Marketing Communications

If you opt in, we may send you marketing emails or text messages. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message, or reply STOP to any marketing text. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping notices, Membership trial reminders, billing receipts, and cancellation confirmations. These are part of your purchase or Membership and cannot be opted out of while active.

9. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and PCI-compliant payment processing, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact shopeazeandco@yahoo.com and we will delete it.

11. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and process information here. If you access our site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, which may have different data protection laws than your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
